What is Bluetooth?
Bluetooth is a technical name for a speedy and simple Wireless Connection, between digital devices, such as mobile telephones and PDA’s. It does this using short range radio links.
What is the Connection Speed?
The time it takes for a message to download on to the phone is 20KB a second. For Example if a message is 80kb in size, it would take 4 seconds to transfer on to the phone.
Do you need a network or internet Connection?
No, you do not need to have any network or internet connection to send the messages out. They are sent via bluetooth therefore no need for a mobile phone signal either (big safety plus and will work underground or even without a sim card!)
How Much does it cost to send the messages?
To send the messages cost NOTHING to send or receive as Bluetooth is FREE to use!
Does it only send out One message at a time?
Bluetoothinteractive allows you to stack messages on the pod, this means it will send out more than one message at a time, however you must be careful not to overload your customer with messages as this form of advertising will become less effective and the customer will not respond to all messages sent.
